The Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce recently partnered with Stuart Benefits Consulting to provide a new health insurance option exclusively for WACC members. Mario Stuart of Stuart Benefits introduced the program and gave an overview of health care reform at the WACC's March membership luncheon. Stuart and Mike King of Coventry Health America fielded a multitude of questions from members after the presentation. WACC President Bob Zentz welcomes the newest members of the Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce with a new member orientation breakfast March 28. Catered by BRAVO and held inside the chamber office and visitor's center, offered new members the chance to introduce their businesses and talk with members of the WACC's board of directors and ambassador committee. Whitehall chamber announces events for April and May

The Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the following events for April.

· Thursday, April 11, at 11:45 a.m. – Membership luncheon at Fellowship Community, 3000 Fellowship Dr. Presentation: "Meet the Lehigh Valley Zoo."

· Wednesday, April 17, at 8 a.m. – Ask The Experts in the chamber conference room: "Hiring Great People Fast!" presented by Dick Cipoletti, RCC Associates.

· Tuesday, April 23, at noon – WOW (Women of Whitehall) Tri-Chamber luncheon at Best Western, Bethlehem. Join the Professional Women's Groups of Whitehall, Nazareth and Slate Belt chambers in our first Tri-Chamber women's event.

· Friday, May 10, at 5 p.m. – 2013 WACC annual event: "Raising the Bar!" at The Barristers Club, 1114 W. Walnut St., Allentown.

· Wednesday, May 15, at noon – Lunch and learn in the chamber conference room: "Active Shooter: Preparation & Response" presented by Dr. Diana Sorrentino, Lehigh Valley Paladin. Free Event, just bring your Lunch

· Saturday, May 18, at 7 p.m. – Steelhawks Tri-Chamber Game Night at Stabler Arena.

· Monday, May 20, at 5:30 p.m. – Mixer at Grumpy's BBQ Roadhouse, 3000 Mauch Chunk Road.

· Thursday, May 30, at noon – Sixth annual business showcase at Steelstacks, 101 Founder's Way, Bethlehem. Come learn about our members, enjoy the farmers market and outdoor concert.
