Egypt festival to bring on the fun June 1

The Egypt Memorial Park will be having its annual festival on Saturday, June 1.

The day kicks off at 10 a.m. with a parade down Main Street.

After that, the day continues with great food by Geaker's Tacos (including tacos, burgers, hot dogs, fries, pierogies, and more), children's games and music.

Beer and wine will also be available for purchase.

Steel Creek Country Music Band will perform from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Ardvarks will perform 3-6 p.m. and Alias will perform 7-10 p.m.

The Egypt Fire Company is hosting a free CPR-AED training class on Thursday, June 13, from 7 to 9 p.m.

The class is open to all Whitehall Township residents. To register, call Dale Ott at 610-262-7598.
