Yard sale planned at Egypt park

The Egypt Memorial Park will be hosting its annual community yard sale 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 12.

At Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, vacation Bible school will be held 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 14-18. The theme this year is "Weird Animals," a habitat filled with Bible-learning experiences.

There will be a chance to participate in a hands-on mission project in which they will help provide water for school children in India.

The program is for children aged 3 through those entering seventh grade in the fall. Teens may participate as crew leaders, assisting with younger children.

The church is located at 4129 S. Church St., Whitehall.

Egypt Community Church and Whitehall Mennonite Church invite children ages 3 to 12 to vacation Bible school.

The theme is Weird Animals – Where Jesus' Love Is One-Of-A-Kind. The program will be held at Egypt Community Church, 4129 South Church St., 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 7-11.
