To a full house at Keystone Pub and Grill, Grape Street, Whitehall, the Leiner for Congress campaign hosted an event Nov. 11 to officially kick off the campaign for Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional District.

The event started with some introductory words from Will Leiner, the candidate’s son, followed by a viewing of the campaign’s official announcement video that was released the week before.

Bill Leiner Jr., Democratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, then addressed the crowd.

He talked about several keystone issues of his campaign, including creating jobs for the 21st century, health care for all, opposition to all forms of discrimination, working to keep millennials in the district, combating the opioid crisis, fair districts and college affordability.
