Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

DEC. 16

In the 500 block of Fourth Street, a report of suspicious activity brought police to the area.

A wiper blade was stolen from the 300 block of Church Street.

At Phoenix Forging Company Inc., 800 Front St., officers investigated a report of a vehicle on private property.

In the 100 block of Wood Street, a vehicle was stolen, the department said.

A vehicle was tagged in the 200 block of Front Street.

On Front Street, officers assisted Whitehall police.

DEC. 17

In the 300 block of Mulberry Street, a family dispute occurred.

A civil matter over a custody issue in the 200 block of Church Street brought police to the scene.

A two-vehicle reportable motor vehicle accident on Race Street occurred, the department said.

A disabled vehicle on Front Street was moved by the fire department.

DEC. 18

In the 300 block of Front Street, beer was found and destroyed, police said.

Pedro Miranda, 26, of Allentown, was arrested for driving under a suspension, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license, among other charges, in the 300 block of Front Street.

Officers assisted a citizen who fell in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

A problem with a former resident in the 100 block of Front Street brought police to the scene.

In the 300 block of Front Street, a vehicle hit a fire hydrant. The suspect was arrested for the hit and run.

At 129 Bridge St., a theft of light covers occurred.

On Second Street, a vehicle was moved by public works.

In the 200 block of High Street, a theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred.

DEC. 19

An animal was removed by public works on Second Street.

The department said an investigation is continuing for a juvenile complaint that occurred at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road.

In the 300 block of High Street, music was turned down when police investigated a noise complaint.

DEC. 20

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., police sought information on a towed vehicle.

Officers assisted a citizen on Front Street.

In the 100 block of Union Street, an adult was reported missing.

A vehicle was tagged at Catasauqua Food Bank, 527 Front St.

An issue between a landlord and tenant occurred in the 100 block of Bridge Street. The case was referred to a code enforcement officer.

In the 600 block of Third Street, police responded to a report of a domestic offense against family.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1300 block of Howertown Road.

On Lehigh Street, police assisted North Catasauqua officers with a report of a possible jumper from the bridge.

DEC. 21

On North 14th Street, a disabled vehicle was towed.

At Pyramid Healthcare, 124 Bridge St., police assisted Lehigh County Adult Probation.

A child abuse case in the 700 block of Third Street was referred to Lehigh County Children and Youth.

At Catty Mart, 137 Front St., officers assisted the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Two vehicles were towed in the 100 block of Front Street.

Police investigated an unattended death on Front Street.

A security check was conducted in the 300 block of Front Street. Property was found, and the investigation is continuing.

In the 1100 block of Howertown Road, officers assisted North Catasauqua police.

DEC. 22

A report of a disturbance in the 100 block of Milton Street was referred to district court.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., music was turned down and the owner warned after police investigated a noise complaint.

A dog barking was brought inside after police responded to an animal complaint in the 600 block of Walnut Street.

In the 700 block of Second Street, a windshield was broken, police said.

DEC. 23

In the 200 block of Front Street, a problem with children brought police to the scene.

On Second Street, officers assisted a citizen.

Police assisted the fire department in the 200 block of Front Street.

Officers sought information regarding a case in the 400 block of Race Street.

In the 400 block of Bridge Street, a parked vehicle was struck.

At Phoenix Forging, 758 Front St., a dog was found. The owner later claimed the animal.

A neighbor issue occurred in the 100 block of Bridge Street.
