Authority honors late board member

Wednesday, January 24, 2018 by PAUL CMIL Special to The Press in Local News

CWSA Chairman John Schreiner took a moment out of the regular board meeting Jan. 16 to pay tribute to board member James Carpenter. Carpenter succumbed to his fight with cancer Jan. 7.

He was a 1961 graduate of Dieruff High School. He leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Rosalie (Mazziotta).

Carpenter retired in 2016 from Multi-Tech Construction, a company he owned and operated for 28 years. He continued to use his organizational and leadership skills to the fullest when he was appointed to the CWSA board six years ago. He served as vice chairman of the board.

Carpenter remained active in many civic associations. He was proud to have been a lifetime member of Fullerton Fire Company.

His skills and experience will be missed, agreed board members, who extended their sympathy to all of his family members.
