Coplay library: Animal tracks program to be held Feb. 9
Join us 11 a.m.-noon Feb. 9 for a “Tracks and Traces” presentation sponsored by Lehigh County Conservation District.
Come solve some of winter’s mysteries as we learn about tracks, traces and animal signs — proof that our animal friends are out and about even during the winter months.
Reminder: Storytime and crafts with Miss Veronica will be 11 a.m. Feb. 8 and 15, with Miss Cadie filling in Feb. 22. All ages are invited to attend.
Valentine’s Day is almost here, so we’ve brought back our Blind Date with a Book program.
The staff has wrapped many books for you to try. Simply read the description on the wrapper and choose the book you want. Check it out, and then you can unwrap it to see what you’ve picked.
Our next free movie Saturday will be Feb. 17. The 11:30 a.m. feature will be Disney’s cartoon version of “Beauty and the Beast,” followed by “The Fault in Our Stars” (PG-13) starting 1:30 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
Game night will be 5-7 p.m. Feb. 26. Our Scrabble experts are always on hand to show you a thing or two.
If you would like to suggest different games for game night, please let us know.
Stop in and buy some tickets for our 50/50 raffle now through March 1. The drawing will be held noon March 1. You do not need to be present to win.
Our adult winter reading program, “Readers in the Rue Morgue,” is continuing through March 15. Stop in and pick up your information packet today.
Our program wrap-up party will be March 29.
Our spring book and bake sale will be April 6 and 7 and will run 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Preview night will be 5-7 p.m. April 5. There is an entrance fee.
We are accepting donations for the sale, but we do not accept VHS tapes, textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books or any materials that are torn, dirty or damaged by mildew or smoke.
All donations are tax deductible, and you can drop them off during our open hours: 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
For everyone’s safety, please do not put books in the book drop.
While we will make every effort to be open during the winter months, your safety and ours is our primary concern. You can check to see if we are open by keeping an eye on the WFMZ Storm Center.
We do not charge fines for any days we are closed for weather.
