Coplay police responded to these and other calls recently.

MARCH 25

A vehicle reported missing March 24 from the unit block of North Fourth Street was located.

Police responded to a business alarm in the 1000 block of Chestnut Street.

Suspicious activity in the unit block of South Front Street was investigated.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police with a vehicle stop on Eugene and Second streets.

The department responded to a report of a wanted person in the unit block of South Front Street.

A parking complaint in the 100 block of Cherry Street was received.

In the unit block of South Second Street, a noise complaint was investigated.

MARCH 26

Officers investigated the theft of a package from a front porch in the 200 block of South Front Street.

In the 3100 block of Hokendauqua Street, a large amount of smoke and a burning odor brought police to the scene.

MARCH 27

A possible retail theft at Giant Food Store, 202 Chestnut St., was reported.

Officers checked on a truck in the unit block of South Third Street that was believed to be leaking fluid.

The department assisted with a civil matter in the 100 block of North Seventh Street.

A written warning was issued during a traffic stop in the 300 block of Coplay Street.

MARCH 28

Officers assisted the Lehigh County sheriff’s office in attempting to serve a warrant in the unit block of North Second Street.

The operator of a vehicle was cited during a traffic stop in the 100 block of South Front Street.

A domestic disturbance in the 200 block of South Second Street brought police to the scene.

An abandoned vehicle in the 3400 block of North Front Street was reported.

A disturbance between a mother and son in the 100 block of South Front Street was investigated.

Officers assisted Northampton police with an investigation in the 100 block of Chestnut Street.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of South Fourth Street.

In the 200 block of South Fourth Street, officers investigated a domestic issue.

An injured hawk in the 200 block of Chestnut Street brought police to the scene.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the unit block of South Fifth Street.

Officers investigated a road rage incident in the area of South Front and Lehigh streets.

A domestic dispute in the unit block of North Second Street brought police to the scene.

A suspicious male in the unit block of South Fifth Street was reported.

A diaper bag was found in the unit block of South Fifth Street after the egg hunt and was returned to the owner.

Police responded to a report of criminal mischief to a window screen in the unit block of South Second Street.

A citizen reported someone knocking on her door overnight in the 100 block of South Second Street.

Officers checked the welfare of an individual in the unit block of North Second Street.

APRIL 1

An injured hawk on the Ironton Rail Trail was turned over to the Pocono Wildlife Center for treatment.

A male reported that his vehicle was moved overnight and parked illegally in the unit block of South Fourth Street.

A harassment complaint between a mother and son in the unit block of South Second Street was investigated.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police with a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of Walnut Street.

The department performed a welfare check in the 900 block of Oak Street.
