Coplay police responded to these and other calls recently.

OCT. 1

A suspicious person in the unit block of North Sixth Street was reported.

Officers investigated a potential fraud in the unit block of South Third Street.

Police assisted a citizen regarding a protection-from-abuse order in the unit block of South Front Street.

OCT. 2

A possible stolen vehicle in the unit block of Magna Drive was investigated.

Police responded to a motor vehicle accident at North Ruch Street and Catherine Drive.

Someone throwing garbage from a vehicle at Chestnut Street and Third Avenue was reported.

Officers investigated the theft of game controllers in the unit block of South Seventh Street.

Protection-from- abuse orders were served on two separate individuals in the unit block of South Front Street.

The department responded to an unwanted person report in the 300 block of Stone Alley.

A motor vehicle accident in the unit block of South Second Street brought officers to the scene.

Police performed a welfare check in the 100 block of Coplay Street.

Officers assisted Whitehall police with a threat complaints in the unit block of South Third Street.

A written warning was issued for failure to produce an insurance card during a traffic stop in the 100 block of Maple Street.

Police investigated the report of a used needle found on the front step of a building in the unit block of North Third Street.

Officers assisted with a civil matter in the 200 block of South Second Street.

An unwanted person in the 300 block of Stone Alley was reported.

The department addressed parking complaints on Center and North Second streets.

Police performed a welfare check in the 100 block of Coplay Street.

A dog running loose in the area of North Front and Keefer streets was reported.

Officers assisted with a civil matter in the 200 block of South Second Street.

Police addressed a road hazard in the area of Chestnut and North Second streets.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police with a suspicious person call in the area of Second and Front streets.

The department received a request to check warrants on an individual in the 400 block of Chestnut Street.

OCT. 7

Police investigated a runaway juvenile in the 1000 block of Chestnut Street.

A sick fox in the 200 block of Margaret Drive was reported.

Officers were on the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 100 block of North Eighth Street.

The department responded to a noise complaint for loud music in the 300 block of Cherry Street.
