Catasauqua: Craft fair to be held Nov. 10

Wednesday, November 7, 2018 by The Press in Columns

Salem United Church of Christ, 615 Third St., will be holding its fall craft fair 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 10.

There will be crafters, a bake sale, basket raffle and lots of good food. Also available will be pickled red beets.

If you would like to reserve a table, call the church office at 610-264-4091 or Bev Werner at 610-248-2822. There is a fee.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., is hosting a brass quintet concert offered by Mother Jones Brass 7 p.m. Nov. 16.

The all-female group of “classy, brassy and sassy” women present music of various genres, including sacred, secular, traditional, popular and Moravian as well as a variety of hymn arrangements.

A freewill offering will benefit the Moravian Music Foundation, which is committed to promoting Moravian music in the Lehigh Valley.

Bring your pre-Thanksgiving taste buds to Holy Trinity 8-11 a.m. Nov. 17 for the buttermilk and pumpkin pancake breakfast.

Featured are pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee and hot tea. There will also be pies and other baked goods available.

Both the breakfast and the baked goods are offered by donation, with proceeds supporting the pastor’s fund for neighbors in need. Plan to support your neighbors, and add to your Thanksgiving desserts!
