Have a very merry Christmas and the happiest of New Years!
Game night will return 5-7 p.m. Jan. 28, 2019.
Bring your suggestions for new games to a staff member. Scrabble game boards will be available for all levels of players.
If you use the Overdrive main page to access e-books and audiobooks, you will notice another reading application, called Libby, is now available. It is an updated version of Overdrive that promises to be an easier, more enjoyable experience.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue will no longer be sending tax forms to libraries. This includes the rent rebate forms.
The department stated, “The cost of printing and mailing paper forms, along with the low rate of return, makes this process unsustainable.”
The department suggests taxpayers access all tax forms on the website, revenue.pa.gov. There is also information about filing online.
If you don’t have access to a computer or printer, the library will print the forms for a small fee.
While every effort will be taken to be open during the winter months, your safety and ours is our primary concern. Check to see if the library is open by keeping an eye on the WFMZ StormCenter.
There are no fines for any days the library is closed for weather. Check the Facebook page for weather updates and fun facts as well.
Donations are accepted throughout the year for all book sales. For safety, please drop them off at the circulation desk during open hours: 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
The library does not accept VHS tapes, Reader’s Digest condensed books, encyclopedias or textbooks.
Call the library at 610-262-7351 or see the website, coplaypubliclibrary.org, for donation guidelines.
