Ochoa is named Girl of the Month

Woman’s Club of Whitehall has named Nashelit Ochoa as the Girl of the Month for December 2018.

She is the daughter of Ms. Patricia Jaramillo and Mr. Elias Ochoa, of Whitehall.

Ochoa has earned high honor roll for all marking periods.

She is a member of SERVE Club (president), Art Club (secretary), Leo Club (president), Interact (president), London Club and German Club.

She is president of National Honor Society and belongs to Mu Alpha Theta and the Science and English honor societies.

Ochoa was named Zephyr Academy Girl of the Month and Artist of the Month her freshman year.

She is on the Whitehall Township Public Library Teen Advisory Board and served as a summer volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital. She also was a Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership participant.

Ochoa plans to major in biology with minors in German and psychology. She hopes to get into dentistry, so she can help communities around the world with dental health.
