Keystone Cement power station technician

Ralph H. Lloyd, 94, of Cherryville, died March 8, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Leo and Beatrice (Harding) Floyd.

He was a graduate of the former Berlinsville High School.

He was in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theatre of Operations.

He was a power station technician for the Keystone Cement Company, Bath, for more than 40 years.

He was a member of the Oplinger-Hower Post, Lehigh Township; and of the Keystone Road and Gun Club.

He is survived by a daughter, Barbara A. Trimble of Bowmanstown; two sons, John R. and his wife Jordice Lloyd, with whom he resided, and Ralph Silfies and his companion Carol of Bath; 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Lloyd; a son, Barry Lloyd; a sister, Fern Chimich; and a brother, Harold Lloyd.

Services are at the convenience of the family.
