Whitehall Township Public Library: eBay program set for April 13, 18
Mark your calendar for 10 a.m. April 13 and 6:30 p.m. April 18 for the return of a popular program on how to sell your items on eBay.
Patty Vahey, library director, will present the basics of eBay use so that you can learn how to list your items, ship them and get paid.
The third Monday open mic and jam night will be held 6:30 p.m. April 15. Thank you to Rocking the Valley Online Radio and Earl Andrews for their support.
Entertainers interested in performing three songs or a 15-minute set are asked to sign up between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Musicians, singers, poets, comedians, actors, writers and storytellers are invited to show off their stuff, or just come and be part of the audience!
The third Tuesday movie night is set for 6 p.m. April 16, and the selection will be “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.”
Storytime with Whitehall High School’s London Club will be held 7 p.m. April 17 and will feature stories on travel and vacationing to prepare for summer.
This is open to children of all ages, and the parents must stay in the library.
Don’t forget to change out your library card for a new Lehigh Carbon Library Cooperative card. There is no cost to exchange an old card for a new one.
See the library staff for more details.
The adult coloring club will meet 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. This club is for anyone 18 and older.
The library has some supplies but invites you to bring your own as well.
The What Are You Reading Now? book club meets 1 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
Patrons are invited to chat about whatever books they are reading at the moment — the ones you loved, the ones you hated and everything in between.
Members of the beading club, with Marty Beaton, meet 1:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays. If you ever wanted to try your hand at the craft, now is the time!
At 6 p.m. the first and third Thursday of every month, the knitting guild will meet. If you like to knit, crochet or do other needlework, join us when you can and bring your own items to work on.
