“It’s the perfect opportunity for philanthropic women to learn more about our group and meet some of our members,” said Anne Baum, chair of the Women’s Circle.
Women’s Circle participants may attendy five networking events a year where philanthropic funding proposals are presented and recipients chosen by the group’s members.
“Since its founding in 2009, the Women’s Circle has raised more than $500,000 to support things like a wheelchair-accessible van for long-term care residents to go on community outings, Good Shepherd’s adaptive driving program, the Needy Patient Fund and nursing and therapist scholarships,” said Marna Hayden, the group’s first chair and a founding and core team member.
