Coplay Public Library: Blast Off into Reading storytime set for July 11
Blast Off into Reading storytime will be held 11 a.m.-noon Thursdays — July 11, 18 and 25. Everyone is welcome to attend; no preregistration is necessary.
The free movies continue 5-7 p.m. at Coplay Public Library.
The July 15 movie is “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”
The July 22 movie is “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”
The July 29 movie is “Apollo 13.”
Everyone is welcome. Feel free to bring popcorn.
The teen space-themed escape room will be 3-4 p.m. July 17.
Teens can help choose the room theme and puzzles.
Join the library for the lunar landing 50th anniversary party noon-2 p.m. July 20.
There will be original NASA footage of the moon landing to watch. There will also be moonwalking lessons and special moon cookies to decorate.
The adult Shoot for the Stars program is planned 6-7 p.m. July 24 and will feature information about astrology and a tarot card reading.
Game night will be 5-7 p.m. July 29. Help our Scrabble experts blast off into the galaxy.
Mark your calendars for the Da Vinci Science Center visit noon-2 p.m. Aug. 17. You can create a stomp rocket.
Everyone is welcome to attend and bring a friend.
If you haven’t yet signed up for the annual summer reading program, you can still register. Activities are scheduled for both children and adults.

The display case will feature Coplay organizations during the month of July.
If you have photos, documents, news articles or other keepsakes, we would be happy to include them in the display. They can be social, service, art, music or any other organization or society. The organizations can be current or former groups.
Call the library or stop in during open hours if you would like to share your remembrances with others.
