Jolie Chylack, from Lehigh County Conservation District, will present the Buckets Full of Nature program about the sun and moon 10 a.m. July 18.

Everyone is invited to this program to learn more about these solar bodies.

Dawn Sellers, from Center for Vision Loss, will be presenting four programs at the library this month.

• July 24, 11 a.m. — Eyes at the Library storytime for preschool and early elementary-age children to attend with their parents

• July 24, 2 p.m. — Teen Seen program about importance of eye care for students in grades 6-12

• July 25, 10:30 a.m. — Toddler Time storytime for ages 18-36 months with their parents

• July 25, 6 p.m. — Adult program about the impact of blue light. Free vision screenings will be available.

Wildlands Conservancy will be at the library 6 p.m. July 30 for a program titled Creatures of the Night. Learn about different nocturnal animals and their abilities.

All are invited.

The adult coloring club will meet 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. This club is for anyone 18 and older.

The library has some supplies but invites you to bring your own as well.

The What Are You Reading Now? book club meets 1 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

Patrons are invited to chat about whatever books they are reading at the moment — the ones you loved, the ones you hated and everything in between.

The beading club meets 1:30 p.m. every Monday and Thursday in the reference area.

Sign up for the summer reading program. The program is for all ages — from children to adults.

Call the library at 610-432-4339 for more information on any of our programs. We have the newsletter and calendar on our website, whitehallpl.org, and copies at the front circulation desk.
