Martin L. Edelman
Martin L. Edelman, 74, of Northampton, died Jan. 13, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Florence Anna (Roth) for 52 years.
Born in Howertown, he was a son of the late Harvey and Minnie (Muschko) Edelman.
He honorably served in the U.S. Army.
He worked for Canteen Vending for many years.
He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Northampton, and served as vice president on church council.
He was the secretary at Zion Stone Cemetery.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Deanne and her husband Ivan Fenstermacher and Lori and her husband Jason Erschen; four grandchildren, Travis, Sarah, Alexa and Jake; two brothers, Donald and Eugene; two sisters, Dolores Hoppes and Marlene Newhart; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Clarence and Allen; and five sisters, Lorraine Edelman, Marie Hahn, Diane Mall, Maryann Neetz and Pearl Zuberka.
There will be visitation 6-8 p.m. Jan. 16 at the funeral home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Visitation continues 9-9:45 a.m., followed by funeral services 10 a.m., Jan. 17 at the church, 1904 Main St., Northampton, 18067.
Contributions may be made to the church or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1335 Old Carriage Road, Northampton, 18067.
