Robert H. Teets
Robert H. Teets, 91, of Catasauqua and formerly of Whitehall, died Jan. 11, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. He was the husband of Shirley M. (Millhime) Teets of Catasauqua.
Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Willard A. and Helen L. (Heimbach) Teets.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran during World War II.
He was a surveyor for the Pennsylvania Highway Department. He was a draftsman for Alcoa and retired from Fuller Company.
He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Northampton; and the former St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Catasauqua.
He was a tenor sax player with the Big Band Ambassadors.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Randy and his wife Cindi and Jeffrey and his companion Mary Ann Kneas; a daughter, Lois and her husband Dennis Hower; two stepdaughters, Kay Muehlburger and Laurie and her husband Lou Perna; a brother, Thomas Teets and his wife Shirley; a sister, Joanne Geayer; three grandchildren, Sarah Teets, Jeff Teets and Juliet Hower; two stepgrandchildren, Elizabeth Flynn and Daniel Hower and his wife Melanie; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Teets; and a sister, LeClaire Snyder.
