LTAA president, coach

Ronald L. Dogmanits, 66, of Walnutport, died Feb. 2, 2020, at home. He was the husband of Romane (Zwiryk) Dogmanits for 42 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Stephen L. and Margaret (Herrington) Dogmanits and stepmother Emily Marsh Werley-Dogmanits.

He worked at Bethlehem Steel for 14 years, was a technician at RCN for 16 years and later was a driving manager at Newhard Pharmacy.

He was a president for three years and coached baseball, soccer and softball for Lehigh Township Athletic Association. He coached Northampton wrestling and refereed soccer and umpired softball games at the high school level.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Joshua and his wife Shannon, Timothy and his wife Mindy and Derek; a daughter, Leigh; four grandchildren, Aubrey, Fiona, Mason and Roman; two brothers, Gerald and his wife Marianne and Donald and his wife Patricia; a stepsister, Gloria Young; and a stepbrother, Luther Werley.

He was predeceased by a stepsister, Ruthann Young.
