Data released by the Lehigh Valley Association of Realtors (LVAR), indicates year-to-date sales are recorded at 4,805, up 16 percent over 2011 year-to-date sales of 4,160.
Year-to-date pending sales, which indicate transactions in process that have not yet closed, reached 5,632, up 34 percent from last year at the same time when pending sales were 3,670.

Alvin H. Butz, Inc., Penn State Berks Campus, and RMJM Hillier received the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) National Project of the Year Award in the Higher Education Project Under $20 million category for the construction of the Gaige Technology and Business Innovation Building.
