The Egypt Memorial Park is having a car wash at the playground 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, May 10. Come on down and support our baseball and softball program. Donations will be accepted to have your car, van or truck made to sparkle. Our snack stand will be open all day and you can take in one of our baseball games starting at 1 p.m. As always, check out the park's website at www.egyptpark.org
Shepherd of the Hills Youth Group will be hosting a penny party on Sunday, May 4. Doors open at 1, and the party starts at 2 p.m. Come out and support the youth as they begin preparations for their trip to Detroit, MI for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America Youth Gathering in July 2015.

The day begins 10 a.m. with a parade down Main Street in Egypt, then three bands will perform live music until 10 p.m. at the park.
The Egypt Memorial Park pavilion is available for rent this spring, summer, fall and new winter rentals starting this year. The indoor pavillion can hold 150 people and the outside pavillion up to 200. Rent both together for large events to host weddings, showers, graduations, reunions and picnics. Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church's vacation Bible school will run 6-8:30 p.m. July 8-12.
