The Egypt Memorial Park will be hosting a kids/family bingo on Sunday, Feb. 17.

The final sign-up date for the Egypt Memorial Park baseball and softball program for this spring will be Saturday, Feb. 9, 9 a.m. until noon, at the park snack stand.

Jacqueline Kuba, organist of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Whitehall, will present an organ recital of Advent and Christmas music on Saturday, Dec. 29, at 4 p.m.
The concert will be presented at the church, which is located on Main Street in the village of Egypt.
Organ works will include selections by Bach, Pachelbel, Daquin, Held and Purvis, along with some favorite seasonal carols.
A freewill offering will be taken to benefit the music program at Shepherd of the Hills.
A reception will follow.
Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church Youth Group in Egypt is taking orders for hoagies and sandwiches during a fundraiser sale.
Orders will be taken until Sunday, Oct. 14.
The hoagies, which will be assembled at Milander's Market in Coplay, will be delivered Oct 21.

The Egypt Memorial Park will be hosting an oldies night on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the park.
Freddie Frederick Sr. will be the deejay and Bad Bones BBQ will be catering this event. Snacks will be provided.

At Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Egypt, members are being sought for the chancel choir, the handbell choir and the youth choir.
After months of planning by a committee of volunteers, the Laurel Fire Company block party will take place on Saturday.
The event will run from 2 to 10 p.m. and will offer children's games, refreshment stands, vendors, music and a basket raffle, along with crafters and an additional prize raffle.
Musical entertainment will be provided by the Birds of Prey in the afternoon and The Large Flowerheads in the evening.
This year's raffle prizes include a patio set, a Kindle Fire, a $250 gas card, a barbecue grill and a Kornfeinds meat special.
