The Whitehall Zephyr football team will hold a car wash fundraiser 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at Carsmetics Expert Accident Repair, 2514 MacArthur Road.
Stop by and help the football team by enjoying some food, fun and a clean car.

Boy Scout Troop 79 from St. John the Baptist, Stiles, will hold its annual community yard sale Saturday, June 8.
The sale will be held on the church grounds at Ruffenach Hall, located at Ruch and Chestnut streets, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Have you recently done your spring cleaning? Are you in the process of purging items from your home? This would be a great opportunity to sell those items at the yard sale. You can reserve a table for a fee.

The Whitehall Zephyr Football Team is hosting its second annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser Saturday, April 27.
Attendees can have dinner either 4:30-6 p.m. or 6:30-8 p.m. The dinner will be held at the Fullerton Memorial Playground Athletic Association, located at 901 Jefferson St., Whitehall.
The menu for this event includes spaghetti with meatballs and sauce, salad, Italian bread, beverages, fresh baked desserts and coffee. You can also take a chance at a basket raffle and a 50/50 drawing. The football players themselves will be your servers.

As a result of the milder temperatures, the Ironton Rail Trail has been seeing a lot of pedestrian and bike traffic. Hopefully, the harsh cold and windy days of winter are behind us.

This Saturday, March 9, the Whitehall High School football team will be serving breakfast at the Samuel Owens restaurant located on Chestnut Street in Coplay.
This fundraiser breakfast will begin at 7 a.m. and run until 10 a.m. You can purchase tickets at the door on the day of the breakfast, or from any football player before the breakfast.
You will have your choice of either pancakes and bacon, or eggs, home fries and bacon.
If you are anxious to see and smell beautiful spring flowers, plan on attending the 2013 Valley Flower, Garden, and Pool Show at Agricultural Hall at the Allentown Fairgrounds, 17th and Chew streets.
The show is scheduled to take place Friday, March 8, through Sunday, March 10.
