Operation Santa rescheduled for Sunday

Due to the snowstorm last weekend, the Hokendauqua Park & Playground Association (HPPA) had to postpone Operation Santa Claus.

Santa will now attempt his annual visit Sunday, Dec. 22, beginning at noon. The Hokendauqua Fire Company will escort Santa, so if you hear the sirens, feel free to come outside to greet him.

Let's hope we have great weather this weekend so Santa can make his rounds.

The HPPA would like to extend warm holiday greetings to everyone.

As Christmas approaches, the number of homes decorating for the holiday increases.

Our community is quite festive and bright with everyone anticipating the holiday season. Enjoy a stroll or drive through the Stiles' neighborhoods and you will surely get into the holiday spirit.

We have about 12 days left to prepare for the big holiday.

Shoppers are frantically heading to the malls and other popular stores and restaurants for gifts and gift cards. Remember to drive carefully and be aware of traffic.
