During the Sunday, Dec. 21, 10:30 a.m. service at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, the youth group will present their Christmas pageant.
Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church will host its Blue Christmas Service 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21.
For those who experience pain and sadness during the holiday season, this service welcomes those to come to know God as the abiding healer, comforter and restorer.
The Laurel Fire Company will be sponsoring Operation Santa on Saturday, Dec. 20, from 9 a.m. until noon, for residents of the Cementon and North Coplay area.
Santa will be bringing presents to the area, riding on the back of the antique 1940 Diamond T firetruck. Look for the lights and listen for the sirens of the jolly old elf.
Wrapped gifts can be dropped off at the fire hall on Thursday, Dec. 18, from 4 to 11 p.m., or Friday, Dec. 19, from 4 p.m. until midnight. Please include the child's name, age, and address on the presents.
Quota Club of Northampton members are accepting contributions of either new, unwrapped gifts of your own choosing or a financial donation for the club's "elves" to shop with.
Last year, Quota was able to help more than 40 children in the Northampton Area School District have a wonderful holiday through the generous donations of individuals and local businesses.
Boy Scout Troop 79 from St. John the Baptist Stiles will hold a pancake and sausage breakfast 7:30 a.m.-noon Sunday, Dec. 14, in Ruffenach Hall.
The menu includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, topping, coffee, tea, milk and orange juice.
The breakfast is free, but donations are welcome.
The Stiles community is looking fantastically festive as the holiday season moves along.
A stroll or drive through the community will surely get you in the holiday spirit.
Fullerton Memorial Playground will hold its annual Christmas party 6-10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at the recreation building.
Admission for all 2014 athletes is free and there is a small fee for other attendees.
There will be a deejay, games, hot dogs, pizza, water and soda.

The library will hold a book fair at Barnes & Noble Friday, Dec. 12, from 5 to 9 p.m.
On Saturday, Dec. 6, at 3 p.m., there will be a special free Christmas Reflections concert at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Pastor Michael Bodnyk will sing tenor along with Linda Himic on piano and Jill Fedon as handbell soloist.
A freewill offering will benefit the Whitehall area's Camp Rhythmo's program.
A family bingo is planned at Egypt Park Sunday, Dec. 7.
Doors open 3 p.m. and bingo starts at 4 p.m.
Fifteen games of bingo will be played for a small fee and the prizes will be gift cards.
There will also be a basket raffle during the bingo.

Fullerton American Legion Auxiliary Unit 367 will hold its annual Christmas party at the post home, Fullerton Avenue and Wood Street, Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 6 p.m.
Members who expect to attend are asked to call President Phyllis Dickert at 610-266-1195 and tell her what dish they will bring.
Note, there will be no meetings in January and February.
AARP Chapter 3115 will meet at noon Thursday, Dec. 4, at the American Club, 300 Cherry St., Coplay. A light lunch will be served. Glenn Miller will entertain with his one-man band.
