Coplay: Follow these tips for snow removal

Thursday, January 28, 2016 by The Press in Columns

With one snowstorm in the books for the winter, residents are reminded by the borough about ways to handle significant amounts of snow. Instead of shoveling your sidewalk before plows come back to the streets for second plowing (to get even closer to the curb), residents can wait to shovel their sidewalks until after this time.

Residents should not shovel or blow snow back onto plowed streets.

If a fire hydrant is located in front of your house, it should be cleared for fire department personnel’s access.
