Edward F. Hobel, 80, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., died June 22, 2013, at Broward Hospital.
Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late Edward and Margaret (Wiessner) Hobel.
He was in the U.S. Air Force. He was a radio specialist and was a Korean War veteran.
A licensed roofing contractor, he owned Ed Hobel Roofing in Florida and, before that, Acker Roofing, Allentown.
He was a member of the Pompano, Fla., Elks. He was known to have scored perfect 300 games.
Ellen E. Reppert, 86, of Macun-gie, died June 19, 2013, at Lehigh Center Genesis Elder Care, Macungie. She was the wife of Donald A. Reppert. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary May 23.
Born in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Florence (Ward) Ribacosky.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Trexlertown.
She was a graduate of Northampton High School and earned an associate degree in English with one year at Kutztown College and one year at Moravian College.
Louis J. Deutsch, 73, of Fullerton, died June 21, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. He was the husband of Leona R. (Bachman) Deutsch for 28 years.
Born in Fullerton, he was a son of the late Louis and Susan (Dolinsky) Deutsch Sr.
He was in the U.S Army.
He worked for Mack Trucks, Allentown and Macungie, for more than 32 years until retirement.
He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church.
He was a life member of the Fullerton Fire Company, Porter Lodge 248 F&M, St. Aloysius Society and the Fearless and Woodlawn fire companies.
Joseph R. George, 59, of Catasauqua, died July 1, 2013, at Good Shepherd–Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Joseph F. and Eliza (Somer) George.
He was a landscaper and delivery man for Colonial Landscaping for many years.
He is survived by a sister, Linda and her husband John Dundore; two nieces, Lori Mark and Jamie and her husband Ian Diefenderfer; a nephew, Robert and his wife Becky Shull; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews.

Priscilla C. Eberhart, 98, of North Catasauqua, died June 19, 2013, in her daughter's residence in North Catasauqua. She was the wife of the late Henry L. Eberhart.
Born in West Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Teckla (Rieker) Sperlbaum.
She was a production controller for the former Raub Supply Company, Allentown, until she retired in 1977. Before that, she had worked at the former General Ribbon Mill, Catasauqua.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Catasauqua.
James A. Gartner, 68, of Allentown, died June 22, 2013. He was the husband of the late Ruth Cheryl (Garis) Gartner.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Anthony and Hedy (Hocht) Gartner.
He was in the U.S. Navy.
He worked for the Salvation Army, Allentown, until retirement.
He is survived by two daughters, Sabrina Leibenguth, at home, and Kristel Gartner of McAdoo; a sister, Constance and her husband Donald Davis; a brother, Richard O. and his wife Mary Gartner of Coplay; and three grand-children.
Geraldine "Gerri" Christine Fella Stracqualursi, 66, of Westport, Mass., died June 15, 2013. She was the wife of the late Loreto J. Stracqualursi for four years.
Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Martin P. Fella and Caroline (Kovalchik) Fella.
She graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School. She earned a bachelor's degree from Kutztown College and a master's degree from Lehigh University.
She was a teacher for 18 years and later worked as a Realtor.
She volunteered with the Dartmouth Council on Aging and The American Red Cross.
Karline M. (Marsh) Hontz, 85, of Palmerton, died June 19, 2013, at Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehab Center, Mahoning Township. She was the wife of the late Otto Hontz for 66 years.
Born in Laurys Station, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Mabel (Beil) Marsh.
She was a sewing machine operator at Scotty's Fashions until she retired in 1978.
She was a member of Hope Lutheran church, Cherryille.
Edward R.N. Charles, 98, of Whitehall, died June 16, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospice. He was the husband of the late Catherine (Durkin) Charles for 61 years.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charlie A. and Amelia (Bishwaty) Charles.
He was a 1933 graduate of Allentown High School. Following 45 years as a local automobile dealer, he retired as president and general manager of Jack Dankel Chevrolet in 1979.
Shirley A. Sell, 61, of Catasauqua, died June 10, 2013, at home.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Eleanor (Stoudt) Knappenberger.
She worked for Lehigh County for 35 years.
She is survived by a son, Jason C. Correll; a daughter, Melissa Sell; and four grandchildren, Sabrina, Delano, Arianna and Gionni.
