Frieda Erna Liberda, 94, of Allentown, died March 20, 2018. She was the wife of the late John Liberda and the late Henry J. Toczek.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Therese (Weiss) Bruckner.
She was a trimmer at the former Penn State Mills, Allentown, until she retired.
She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Polish Catholic Church, Allentown, and its Sodality.
Andrew D. Palco Sr., 88, of Whitehall, died March 27, 2018, at home, after a 20-year battle with prostate cancer. He was the husband of Elsie (Yost) Palco for 67 years.
Born in Egypt, he was a son of the late Andrew and Susan (Kuchera) Palco.
He was an U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Stiles.
He was employed by Imperial Countertops, Allentown. Before that, he worked for the former Willard Battery, Allentown.
He played the button accordion for Steve Huber and the Happy Austrians for 30 years.
James L. Fenstermaker, 74, of Lansford and formerly of Bethlehem, died March 10, 2018, in his home.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Francis J. Sr. and Irene I. (Anthony) Fenstermaker.
He was in the U.S. Army, serving stateside, during peace time.
He was a truck driver/delivery department of the former Wint Casket Company, Catasauqua.
He attended Egypt Community Church, Whitehall Township.
He is survived by two nieces, Melissa J. Schlosser and Dawn M. Butryn, both of Emmaus.
He was predeceased by a brother, Francis J. Jr.
Robert Higgins, 81, of Northampton, died March 29, 2018. He was the husband of Dolores (Swider) Higgins for 58 years.
Born in Nesquehoning, he was a son of the late Louis Sr. and Anna (Marek) Higgins.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He was a supervisor for many trucking companies over the years, before retiring from Preston Trucking.
He was a member of American Legion Post 470, Bath, and a life member of the Coplay Saengerbund.
Barbara F. (Snyder) Yakubecek, 85, of Whitehall, died March 20, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Daniel Yakubecek.
Born in Bowmanstown, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Mildred (Snyder) Snyder.
She was a 1950 graduate of Palmerton High School.
She worked for 30 years for Lucent Technologies (formerly Western Electric).
She was a member and Sunday school teacher at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Egypt, for several decades.
Helen S. Shellock, 94, of Northampton, died March 10, 2018, at Weatherwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Weatherly. She was the wife of the late Stanley “Lefty” J. Shellock.
Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Bertha (Hoshko) Sinkevitch.
She worked as an assembler for Western Electric for many years.
She was a longtime member of St. Michael the Archangel Church. After they closed, she became a member of Queenship of Mary Church.
Marie A. Bloom, 77, of Schnecksville, died March 24, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of James D. Bloom for 59 years.
Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Strisovsky) Seyer Sr.
She was a fitter for Cross Country Clothes, Northampton, for 32 years before she retired.
She was a member of both the Slatington and Walnutport senior clubs.
Eugene Yadush, 72, of White Haven, died March 23, 2018.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Andrew and Olga (Reenock) Yadush.
He is survived by a brother, Robert and his wife Joyce of Walnutport; a sister, Elizabeth and her husband Paul Mikisits of Seemsville; a twin sister, Jeanette and her husband Albert Orrs of Ronks; nieces; nephews; grandnieces; and grandnephews.

Doris M. Daumer, 94, of Whitehall and formerly of Northampton, died March 16, 2018, at Fellowship Community, Whitehall.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Robert H. and Helen E. (Kipp) Ackerman.
She was a 1941 graduate of Allentown High School and was the class statistician for 31 years. She studied nursing at the former Haff Hospital School of Nursing, Northampton, and in 1944, earned a practical nursing degree.
She was a licensed practical nurse at the former Allentown Osteopathic Hospital for 23 years until she retired in 1985.
Richard A. Radokovitch, 71, of Bethlehem and formerly of Ormrod, died March 27, 2018, at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital, Bethlehem.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Stephen F. and Sophie (Bobenko) Radokovitch.
He was employed for many years by the former Allentown Record Company.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton.
He is survived by a sister, Linda and her husband Jerome Nederostek of Whitehall; and a nephew, Jason and his wife Cyndi Nederostek of Whitehall.
