The department responded to reports of suspicious activity on Mickley Road and Livingston Street.

A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 1300 block of Mickley Road.

Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 3000 block of South Ruch Street.

Thefts on Maryland Circle and West Highland Street were investigated.

Police provided a protection-from-abuse order in the 1200 block of Hampshire Circle.

A wanted person on Mickley Road was reported.

Armed robbery reported at Hanover Township hotel

STATE POLICE

Pennsylvania State Police, Bethlehem, is investigating an armed robbery that took place Jan. 15 at Days Inn, 3400 Airport Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County.

According to the report, troopers responded to a 4 a.m. call that a man walked into the hotel, approached the front desk, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the cash register.

Police said the desk personnel opened the cash drawer and gave the man the money inside.

The man then fled the scene, according to the report.

A noise complaint in the 1800 block of Washington Avenue was reported.

In the 1400 block of Newport Avenue and in the 500 block of East 20th Street, police investigated disturbances.

Officers conducted a welfare check on two males in the 1300 and 1600 blocks of Newport Avenue.

Police assisted Colonial Regional Police Department in contacting a female in the 300 block of East 12th Street.

A male shoplifting at Turkey Hill Minit Market, 1060 Main St., was reported.

Officers investigated a crash involving a DUI in the 2300 block of North First Avenue.

A burglary in the 4100 block of North Church Street brought police to the scene.

The department responded to a reported theft from a vehicle in the 1300 block of North 14th Street.

A disturbance at MacArthur Commons was reported.

Police investigated a domestic offense against family in the unit block of Jordan Drive.

On Front Street, a written traffic citation was issued.

At 343 Front St., police assisted a citizen with a vehicle parked on the lot.

A hit and run took place in the 100 block of Howertown Road.

The department referred a harassment case, which took place in the 700 block of Third Street, to investigations.

In the parking lot of CVS, West 21 Street, a hit-and-run accident occurred. A legally parked vehicle was struck by a silver Jeep Renegade.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 1300 block of Newport Avenue.

Terroristic threats — a male making threats to a group of juveniles — in the 100 block of Held Drive were reported.

An overdose in the 1300 block of Stewart Street was reported.

Officers investigated a DUI involving alcohol at Howertown Road and Palomino Drive.

Police responded to a burglar alarm in the 1100 block of Eighth Street.

The unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the 200 block of Fifth Street was reported.

Police responded to thefts on Center Street and Fernhill Lane.

A report of harassment in the 2600 block of MacArthur Road was investigated.

Officers were on the scene of an attempted burglary in the 1200 block of MacArthur Road.

Police responded to a theft from a vehicle in the 200 block of Orchard Drive.

On Railroad Street, a registration plate was seized and the driver cited.

In the 200 block of Limestone Street, an issue with a home appliance occurred. The case was referred to the landlord.

A hit and run to a parked car in the 100 block of Bridge Street took place.

On North Second Street, officers and the department’s K-9 assisted Coplay police during a traffic stop.

Police attempted to make contact for Palmer Township officers in the 400 block of Race Street.

Police provided a protection-from-abuse service in the unit block of North Front Street.

A neighbor complaint regarding garbage in the 100 block of North Second Street was addressed.

The department assisted Emmaus police with a protection-from-abuse service in the 1000 block of Bernice Drive.
