NOV. 25

At Wyandotte and Ridge streets, Officer Buchanan and the department K-9 assisted North Catasauqua police in the search of a vehicle.

A male harassing a female in the 300 block of Main Street was reported.

Police responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 500 block of East 11th Street. The report said a legally parked vehicle was egged.

Borghesani gets jail time for corruption of minors charge

On Nov. 30, Lehigh County Judge Kelly Banach sentenced David Borghesani, a former Whitehall High School music teacher, to three to 23 months in the community corrections center, to be followed by three years of probation, for corruption of a minor, a first-degree misdemeanor. He will also be evaluated to determine if he is considered a sexual predator, Banach said.

Police responded to a report of identity theft in the 1300 block of Mickley Road.

In the 300 block of Mickley Road, a burglary was investigated.

In the 700 block of Front Street, police conducted a theft investigation, which is continuing, the department said.

At St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road, a fire alarm sounded.

A reportable motor vehicle accident occurred in the 200 block of North 14th Street. A vehicle hit a tree, and the drive was entrapped.

A suspicious person in the 600 block of Railroad Street was reported.

Police checked on the welfare of a person on the Pine Street Bridge.

A vehicle was damaged at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., the department said.
