JULY 6

Suspicious activity — a male attempting to purchase a gift card with a counterfeit $20 bill — at Dollar General, 2016 Main St., was reported.

JULY 7

A disturbance in the 1300 block of Stewart Street occurred. A male and a female were causing a disturbance.

Officers investigated a report of criminal mischief in the 1500 block of Dewey Avenue. The report said the front passenger-side tire of a legally parked vehicle was punctured.

A report of identity theft in the 3700 block of Lehigh Street was investigated.

The department responded to a mental health call in the 900 block of Mickley Road.

Officers assisted a citizen in the 400 block of Crane Street with protection-from-abuse information.

Police investigated a complaint of loitering/prowling in the 700 block of Bethlehem Road. The persons were located.

A neighbor dispute occurred in the 100 block of Prospect Street.

Police assisted an outside agency at Lehigh Valley International Airport, 3311 Airport Road, with a report of a plane in distress. The plane landed safely.

A gas-powered tamper was found in the roadway on Coplay Road.

A citation was issued for a speeding offense in the 100 block of Chestnut Street.

Internet harassment from an individual in the unit block of North Front Street was investigated.

The department assisted with a dumpster fire in the 1100 block of MacArthur Road.

Man dies after ATV crash

MOORE TOWNSHIP

A Moore Township man died July 1 after an accident involving an all-terrain vehicle the day before.

According to Lehigh County Coroner Eric D. Minnich, Glenn Zullick, 55, was the operator of the ATV that crashed about 4:25 p.m. June 30 in the area of 520 Club Road, Moore Township. He died the following day at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill.

Minnich said Zullick’s cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries. He ruled the manner of death an accident.
