JUNE 15

A warrant service was served in 2500 block of Cherryville Road. An officer observed a male with an outstanding warrant out of Lehigh County. The male was taken into custody, transported to the station and released to a Lehigh County sheriff.

JUNE 16

In the 700 block of Main Street, a woman yelling for help from the woods/railroad area was reported. She was located on the abandoned railroad trestle.

A domestic matter in the 100 block of South Third Street brought police to the scene.

The department investigated a report of harassment between two tenants in the unit block of South Second Street.

A dog running loose in the 200 block of South Fourth Street was reported.

In the area of North Ruch and Chestnut street, a dog would not get out from under a vehicle. The owner retrieved the dog.

A reckless driver in the area of Eighth and Hunter streets was handled by police.

The department responded to a report of a lost dog in the 1000 block of Fifth Street.

Police investigated an alarm in the 1200 block of Eighth Street.

A traffic stop was conducted at Second and Eugene streets.

Police responded to a mental health call in the 2700 block of MacArthur Road.

A disturbance in the 2900 block of MacArthur Road was reported.

State police remind pet owners of Hot Car Bill

With warmer summer weather in the forecast, the Pennsylvania State Police reminds animal owners to think about the health and safety of their pets.

In October 2018, Gov. Tom Wolf signed Act 104 of 2018, otherwise known as the Hot Car Bill. The law provides protection for law enforcement and emergency responders when a dog or cat is removed from a motor vehicle when the animal is showing signs of distress.

JUNE 3

In the 300 block of Second Street, a written warning was issued.

Two males, ages 13 and 14, of Catasauqua, were cited at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St., for disorderly conduct.

Two 14-year-old females, of Catasauqua, were cited at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St.

Four traffic citations were issued on 10th Street, the 300 block of Race Street, the 300 block of Second Street and Howertown Road.
