Police responded to an animal complaint at Third and Eugene streets.

Officers performed a security check in the 1000 block of Third Street.

DEC. 10

A broken water pipe in the 1100 block of Fifth Street brought police to the scene.

The department assisted Catasauqua police with a report of a burglary in progress in the 100 block of Race Street.

Traffic stops were conducted on Eugene Street, at Howertown Road and Chapel Street and at Third and Eugene streets.

Credit card fraud in the 100 block of South Third Street was reported.

Officers responded to a reported stray dog in the 3300 block of North Ruch Street.

Police performed a welfare check on an individual in the unit block of North Fourth Street.

The post office on Second Street reported wind damage, the department said.

Dogs fighting in a home in the 400 block of Crane Street was reported. They were taken to a veterinary office.

Police investigated a harassment complaint in the 400 block of Walnut Street. The juveniles were counseled and released.

On West Race Street, an abandoned vehicle was tagged.

A vehicle in the 300 block of Mulberry Street was tagged, police said.

Police responded to an overdose in the 5200 block of Lincoln Avenue.

Criminal mischief in the 2600 block of MacArthur Road was reported.

The department investigated a disturbance in the 1200 block of Olympic Circle South.

Suspicious activity on Maryland and Second streets was reported.

A domestic dispute between a male and female in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue was reported.

The department said extension cords were cut in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. Decorations were not taken, police said.

In the 1500 block of Lincoln Avenue, a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident occurred. The driver-side mirror of a legally parked vehicle was struck.

Police investigated the report of a sounding panic alarm in the 1000 block of Howertown Road.

A dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend took place in the 400 block of Race Street.

At Force 1, 403 Wood St., a theft occurred. The case was referred to Northampton Borough police.

Officers responded to an animal complaint in the 300 block of Church Street. The dogs were reunited with their owner, who received a warning.
